Dr Shi Hong Shen

Dr Shi Hong Shen is a specialist general anaesthetist with a passion for excellence in safety and the best possible patient experience. Dr Shen is a visiting anaesthetist at Mercy Health, Rural and Regional Victoria and most major private hospitals including Cabrini Health and Epworth. He is skilled and experienced in a range of general, paediatric and obstetric specialties. In public practice, Dr Shen holds appointments in clinical governance and obstetric anaesthesia leadership and training.

Dr Shen completed anaesthesia training in Australia at Austin health, Royal Children’s Hospital Melbourne, Mercy Hospital for Women and the Royal Melbourne Hospital as well as further fellowship training at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre for cancer surgery and Monash Health for high risk obstetric anaesthesia.

Dr Shen is a fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (ANZCA) and a member of the Australian Society of Anaesthetists (ASA) and participates in the ANZCA continuing professional development program.
